Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-08 · Updated
1. AuctorFolio and your account
Fantasy.Productions L.L.C. owns and operates AuctorFolio. Copeland Systems L.L.C. authors the website's code and handles subscription, payment, billing and refund matters. The companies have the same individual owner and remain distinct legal entities.
Keep your account details accurate, protect your sign-in credentials and use only accounts, workspaces and projects you are authorized to access. Do not bypass access controls, misuse another person's work, introduce malicious content or use the service unlawfully. Organization and project permissions determine who can see or change shared work.
2. Your writing and other content
You retain your rights in the writing and other material you submit. You permit the service to host, store, transmit, process, display and export that material as needed to provide the features you request and the sharing you authorize. Collaboration and publication can make material available to the recipients or audience you select. Accepting these terms does not itself authorize AI processing of your writing.
3. Plans and subscriptions
Review the exact plan version, features, allowances, price, currency, billing interval and commercial disclosures before accepting an offer. Published plan revisions do not silently replace an accepted agreement. Browsing offers or returning from checkout does not itself confirm a payment. Cancellation and refunds are separate actions; a cancellation request does not establish that a refund has been issued. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.
Authoring plans and optional monthly AI-credit subscriptions are separate. An AI-credit subscription does not increase writing allowances. Changing a writing tier does not itself purchase an AI-credit subscription or change its accepted price. Confirmed provider outcomes determine subscription and credit availability.
Accounts exceeding their effective allowances can become read-only while retaining permitted reading, export and removal actions. Sandbox payments do not purchase live entitlements or authorize live charges. See the Commercial and AI Credit Terms at https://www.auctorfolio.com/legal/commercial-terms.
4. Offline writing
Prepared paid writing can remain editable in the browser through the last server-confirmed paid-through date plus 48 hours. Reconnect before the displayed deadline so continued access can be verified. Trial editing ends at the trial expiry. When offline editing access ends, local writing becomes read-only and local copies remain available for reading, copying and download. Signing out or clearing browser storage can remove local copies.
Reconnection checks the account, effective plan, allowances, project permissions, document lease and current version before saving. A denied save preserves the local writing for recovery. Current server restrictions take precedence when contact is restored.
5. Privacy, security and account-data requests
Read the Privacy Notice at https://www.auctorfolio.com/legal/privacy. Account-data tools support export and closure requests subject to identity verification, ownership and applicable obligations. Eligible information is erased or minimized through the account-closure process; narrowly scoped records may remain where a documented retention authority requires them. Do not submit passwords or complete payment-card information in manuscripts or support messages.
6. Support and attribution
Use the signed-in support form at https://www.auctorfolio.com/support to submit an account, billing or privacy request. Support information is available at https://www.auctorfolio.com/help.
