Commercial and AI Credit Terms

1. Subscriptions and purchases Copeland Systems L.L.C. handles AuctorFolio subscription purchases, payments, billing, cancellation, refunds, disputes and related accounting. Fantasy.Productions L.L.C. owns and operates AuctorFolio. Copeland Systems L.L.C. separately authors the website's code. The companies have the same individual owner and remain distinct legal entities. Stripe provides payment services. Before purchasing, review the exact plan or credit offer, price, currency, taxes, billing interval, allowances and renewal or expiration terms. Offers and acceptances are versioned. A new published offer does not automatically replace an older agreement. The payable total is shown before payment authorization. Access follows confirmed provider outcomes rather than a checkout redirect alone. 2. Renewals, cancellation and refunds Recurring subscriptions renew according to the accepted offer unless canceled under its disclosed procedure and applicable law. The application provides Stripe portal access where configured and a request to cancel at the reconciled period end. A pending cancellation or provider failure is not confirmed cancellation. A trial offer states its duration, conversion date, later price, payment authorization and cancellation method before enrollment. Cancellation and refund are different actions. A refund request, ledger adjustment or pending provider response is not confirmation that a refund has reached the payment method. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable. Authoring and AI subscriptions Authoring plans govern writing features and published allowances. A monthly AI-credit add-on is a separate optional subscription requiring an eligible paid Authoring agreement. It does not replace the Authoring plan or increase writing allowances. Choosing a higher writing tier does not itself buy an AI add-on or change its accepted price. The add-on supplies the credits in its accepted offer after the paid period is confirmed and reconciled. Canceling the AI add-on does not cancel the Authoring plan. Before canceling Authoring, stop renewal of its dependent AI add-on and wait for confirmation. The confirmed effective periods determine when the subscriptions end. 4. AI credits and spending limits AI credits are service units, not money. Included and purchased credits follow the use and expiration rules of the accepted offer. AI remains optional and project AI-free settings apply to collaborators. The service reserves authorized credits and reconciles confirmed usage. Available credit does not itself authorize a provider request or payment-card charge. Paid editorial rounds follow their approved scope and maximum credit charge. Unused reservations are released. Customer charges remain bounded by the authorized limit, and AuctorFolio absorbs usage above that limit. If an authorized difference remains outstanding, another paid round may wait for eligible credits, including an authorized purchase or confirmed monthly allocation. Completed feedback remains available. An indeterminate provider outcome does not establish a confirmed customer charge. Automatic card-backed top-up requires a separate explicit choice and an authorized cumulative gross spending limit including tax. Policy acceptance, a credit reconciliation or earlier consent to a smaller amount does not authorize a hidden card charge. 5. Offline writing, sandbox payments and allowances Prepared paid writing can remain editable offline through the last server-confirmed paid-through date plus 48 hours. Trial editing ends at the trial expiry. When editing access expires, local copies remain available for reading, copying and download. Reconnection verifies the current account, plan, allowances and project access before saving. Sandbox transactions use simulated payments. They do not establish payment for live service or authorize future live charges. AI-provider requests can incur real supplier charges even when Stripe is in Sandbox. The applicable project access, credits and spending authorization still apply. Accounts exceeding their effective plan allowances may become read-only while retaining permitted reading, export and removal actions. 6.
